Mrs. Wight is still teaching our students! 8th grade is at the "Welcome to the Real World" conference at Carl Sandburg College today. They are learning "real" financial life skills. Custodian (Part-Time, Year-Round) – Williamsfield Schools
Williamsfield Schools is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our custodial team! This is a part-time, year-round position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our elementary wing.
Position Details:
Hours: 4 hours per day (3:00 – 7:00 PM) during the school year
Schedule: Monday – Friday, year-round
Summer Hours: 40 hours per week during summer break
Location: Williamsfield Schools – Elementary Wing
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
Empty trash and recycling bins
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as needed
Assist with minor maintenance and setup for school events
Ensure a safe and orderly environment for students and staff
Follow proper safety protocols and cleaning procedures
Requirements:
Must pass a criminal background check
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred, but not required
