Business Education Teacher (Grades 7–12)
Williamsfield Schools is seeking a passionate, student-centered educator to serve as a Business Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will join a supportive rural school district committed to preparing students for success in college, careers, and life through meaningful, real-world learning experiences.
Position Overview
The Business Education Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction across a variety of middle school and high school business-related courses, helping students develop practical financial, technological, entrepreneurial, and workplace skills.

Fundamentals of Business / Marketing
Business Applications
Financial Algebra / Real Estate & Finance
7th & 8th Grade Business / Fundamentals of Business
Personal Finance
Accounting I/II and III/IV
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement(s) in Business Education
Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Experience integrating technology and real-world applications into instruction preferred
Coaching and/or sponsorship interests are welcomed but not required
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned to Illinois Learning Standards
Foster a positive, supportive classroom culture focused on student growth and career readiness
Utilize technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success
Participate in school improvement efforts and professional development opportunities
