Our HS Robotics team, Bionic Bombers Team #7417, made it all the way to the final playoff match at the Central Illinois Regional at Bradley University this season. This is the furthest our team has EVER competed at a Regional event!
After showcasing deft driving maneuvers and solid defense skills, we were chosen by a couple of the top-ranking teams (Roboteers #2481 and Argos #1756) to join their alliance for the playoff matches. We moved through the bracket all the way to the FINAL playoff match, where we were ultimately defeated by the opposing alliance.
We are so proud of these students! Their hard work and determination paid off! Not only is this the furthest our team has ever advanced in playoff matches, but this is incredibly unheard of for such a small team as ours.
