Notice of a Tentative Proposed Property Tax Increase For Williamsfield Community Unit School District No. 210

  1. A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for Williamsfield Community Unit School District No. 210 for 2025 will be held on December 8, 2025, at the Kutkat Conference Room in the District Office at 325 Kentucky Ave., Williamsfield, IL 61489.

  2. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended for or abated for 2024 were $4,754,520.  The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $6,078,372.  This represents a 27.84% increase over the previous year.

  3. The property taxes extended for debt service and public building commission leases for 2024 were $364,012.  The estimated property taxes extended for debt service and public building leases for 2025 are $373,481.  This represents a 2.6% increase over the previous year.

  4. The total property taxes extended or abated for 2024 were $5,118,532. The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2025 are $6,451,853. This represents a 26.04% increase over the previous year.
