Williamsfield Wins 3 Firsts at Agronomy  Contest

Our chapter sent 15 students to compete at the Section 4 Agronomy Contest hosted at Black Hawk College. This contest includes identifying weeds, crops, insects, and equipment. Students also take a general knowledge exam and judge silage and wheat. Our varsity team placed 3rd overall, the novice team placed second, and our discovery team placed first.

Participants included Kyla Doubet, Jessi Doubet, Ella Rigg, Owen Rigg, Trent Stiers, Hannah Gehring, Ava Storm, Cameron Yerky, Colbie Lewis, Preston Lafary, Rylee Triplett, Ember Boyer, Luke Roberts, Rory Carton, and Abel Rogers.

The team's top individuals will compete on December 6th for state at ISU. Congratulations to everyone who participated, and good luck at state!
