InspireEd

On October 2nd, 2025, Williamsfield students attended the first InspireEd Conference at Carl Sandburg College, a future teacher event designed to

connect aspiring educators, current teachers, and education professionals.

The day began with a keynote from Toby Vallas, “Belonging and Athletics: Redefining Success for Students,” followed by breakout sessions on topics such as nature-based play in early education, AI literacy, and transferring to a four-year college. Attendees also enjoyed a taco bar lunch paired with a college fair, a teacher roundtable discussion, and prize giveaways for both future and current educators.

InspireEd was designed to provide valuable networking, professional development, and inspiration for those pursuing careers in education, as well as support for current teachers.

Thanks to the Regional Office of Education #33, Delabar CTE System, and
