Kyla Doubet and Trent Stiers received 8th and 9th place respectively, placing them among the Top 10 individuals at the Section 4 Forestry Contest this last week. The team, which also included Kira Boyer, Rylee Triplett and Olivia Stone delivered a solid performance, placing third overall.
The students took a general knowledge exam; identified tree species, tools and equipment; completed a practicum that involves tree management; and used a compass.
