💥 Spring Testing Season: Let’s Show What We Know!

It’s that time of year—school-wide spring testing begins next week, and we’re calling on all students to bring their A-game!

These assessments aren’t just tests—they're a chance for our students to show off everything they’ve learned, and for our school to shine! The results from these tests are directly connected to our Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) School Report Card, which impacts how our school is seen across the state.

📈 The better we do, the better our school looks. These scores are part of how our success is measured, how we qualify for programs, and how we continue growing. Every student matters—and every effort counts.

🗓️ Testing Schedule Overview:

📘 IAR Testing (Grades 3–8):

  • Math: March 31 – April 2
    (Makeups: April 3–4)

  • ELA: April 7–8
    (Makeups: April 10–11)

🎓 High School Testing:

  • ACT (11th grade): Wednesday, April 9

  • Pre-ACT Secure (10th grade): Monday, April 14

  • Pre-ACT 9 Secure (9th grade): Tuesday, April 15

🧪 ISA Science Testing (Grades 5 & 8):

✅ How Families Can Help:

  • Make sure your student gets a good night's sleep before testing days

  • Ensure students arrive on time and have a charged Chromebook (if needed)

  • Offer words of encouragement—confidence makes a difference!

We’re so proud of our students and staff for all the hard work this year. Now’s the time to show what we’ve learned, what we’re made of, and what makes Billtown great.

Thank you for everything,

Zack Binder
