Class meets for 12 weeks; 1st rotation ends November 16th;
2nd rotation ends February 29th;
3rd rotation ends upon completion of school year

August/September - About You & Others – learning about you, challenges, communications 
Careers – career crusing.com- the world of work, personality, clothing, dining, interviewing-world of work – 9-5 job

October - Foods & Nutrition – foods you eat, meal planning, weight management, utensils, sanitation, lab in kitchen
Food Science-culture, at the table manners, special diets

November - Clothing – buying, care, construction techniques , design, principles of construction, fibers and yarns, lab
sewing skills, caring for clothing, embroidery

Understanding children – health & safety, babysitting
Business applications
 Management of resources, money, time, energy
Principles of above listed curriculum will be implemented when applicable.  This course is designed to explore all aspects of FACS offerings.
